NZ vs The World

The World's best surfers vs. N.Z.

A collection of photos taken by the author on the day Vodafone brought the Worlds bests surfers to Piha Beach to surf it out against NZ's best.

The World:  Mark Occhilupo, Sunny Garcia, Andy Irons & Joel Parkinson

NZ:  Maz Quinn, Morehu Roberts, Bobby Hansen & Daniel Kereopa.

Maz Quinn is quoted saying he 'felt like a rock star'.  The 15,000 surf fans that packed Piha to 'full' weren't dissappointed.  The 'World Team' and New Zealand's best surfers made themselves very available to their fans.

And the winners are:  The World Team
